i finally did it.

i shaved my head bald yesterday. now there's a short growth of hair that makes my head look like freshly mowed lawn. and i can feel air on my scalp! it's like a surround sound experience. simply walking along the road will allow me to feel my head encased in a breeze. of course pictures will be up soon.

oh. skive had a photoshoot as well. pictures will be up soon too. we got chased out of the rooftop of tiong bahru plaza by a pair of security guards, who said the area was restricted. but goddamn, the place as totally accessible! unlocked doors and free passages. i wonder how could it have been "restricted" if it was so unrestrictive in access.

whoopee. apple recently upgraded the processors on the entire macbook pro line, so finally we'll all have a machine that is just as fast as the other "dull little boxes" that other computer manufacturers roll out.

same speed, better quality. what else can one ask for!

however i do have a theory. this is either a

i) pre-planned marketing stunt by apple - which was planned ever since they introduced the macbook pro line.

ii) a clever sales stunt to generate more income as apple offers an even faster processor upgrade for just US$300. this is obviously targeted towards users who simply must have the latest and greatest.

iii) stalling tactic while apple address some production issues.

Personally, I think it's a combination of (i) and (ii), as they both work cooperatively to either foster a sense of goodwill with the mac community (we're getting more for FREE!) and increase the bottom-line by taking advantage of power users.

As a side note, I think that the CPUs present in the MBP are socketed as opposed to them being soldered on.

Whatever it is, I'm getting mine end of feb. Whee!

i hate waking up to a sinus problem. it usually means that i've been sleeping with my mouth agape, due to my nose being all clogged up with gunk. so i'll have a really dry, sometimes sore throat, and lots of phlegm being cosy with my tonsils. and the nose will continue being blocked no matter how many times i sneeze.

it's not the way to wake up to a sunny day.

currently grammy's are showing live on the tv. i woke up at 9 specifically to watch it.

i just blew my nose again.

isnt it funny how you can train your own body to wake up on demand? i cant do this all the time, but sometimes, on the previous night, i will psych myself to wake up at a specific time (9am today, for the grammys.) and i will be awake five minutes before the time i set myself.

my breakfast today = 3 slices of plain bread. protein and milo shake.

i've been spending my time watching quicktime trailers, reading apple related news (i cant wait to order my macbook pro goddammit!), and doing fuck all.

I cant wait till i get my ass to australia.

Eva Longoria has been added to my fantasy list. together with jennifer love hewitt (its the face, not the tits. honestly. but the tits are a fringe benefit.)

what else can i add this thursday morning... ah yes, I will be catching Fearless later tonight. Jet Li is my idol. no, really!

i hope the beaches are aussie are better than the ones at sentosa.

what's this? a phone call... ah from pfizer. its time to enroll as a lab rat again!

that's about it for thursday morning.

i lost some money last night on gambling but when i woke up today to news of death by stampede and death by sinking ferry, i felt better about my loss.

hey, nothing like witnessing some worse tragedy to make your own seem trivial right?
