monday
the momentum wanes come monday morning. i REALLY should sleep earlier.. i caught myself dozing off while observing other teachers in class a couple of times. but its ok when im actually taking a class. Just give me something to do!! i only had like 3.5hrs of effective classroom work today. the rest of the time i was meditating in the teacher's room.a nice temp. teacher came up to me today to say hi. i was surprised when she said she was 18. haha and she used to be a student of nan hua as well, and together with her, i met another temp teacher as well.
did i tell u there's this teacher who looks like jamie yeo? well there is. she teaches PE as well. hot.
as if being in a special ETD (educational technology division) project isnt enough, im now going to tag along with the p.5's for their adventure camp on the following week! argh.
workload so far is alright... no books to mark. i played hangman with another relief class today. surprisingly even though they're not considered the best class (read: they are the worst class) they're still quite keen to learn new things. Gave them words like "escargot" ("eeee snails?", was the reaction) and "transistor" and "barcode" and how they work.
the feeling you get they finally understand what you've been trying to explain is really really good :D i just hope they dont go home and forget all they've learnt overnight

PS: oh i had a haircut today. fresh new me tomorrow
