Do the participants in Villa Wellness use Dove products?

recently in singapore, there's a "reality" tv programme that's all about fat women trying to be lose weight and be healthy. that's what they try to pull off, but basically it's a farce: we're presented with whining ladies who mope about their weight and how tough it is to get in shape, and either cry or bitch all the time, depending on their personality. (whatever it is, they just mope and cry or bitch.)

hey i dont blame them, sometimes genetics really deals you a bad hand. but if you're totally serious about losing weight, stop whining and get with the program.

or they should kick back, chow down another pizza and advocate Dove's campaign for true beauty.

what dove wants to try and change, is our perception of beauty. that is its only skin deep and it is in the eye of the beholder. blahblah blah. noble aspirations, but its a bunch of bullshit. why? coz if you go to the site, most of the models (yes, models) that they use are at least pleasing to the eye.

why dont they put someone with 3rd degree burns on 90% of their bodies and ask the public to look for the TRUE beauty in them? coz it doesnt work that way, stupid. it's all advertising. dove wants to tap in to the insecure women market by pretending to champion their cause. but they dont want to associate their brand with ugliness. notice also that they use very subjective examples. fat-curvy, skinny-athletic, gray-gorgeous. coz some people DO find fat/skinny/older women sexy. but to associate their brand with ugly? how are they gonna spin that?

coz ugly is just.. ugly.

so dove stop trying to champion the cause for true beauty when the examples that you use are not externally ugly.

then again, who's gonna comfort the fatties in Villa Wellness?
