remember that little slot i got from a friend of a friend - casting as an extra for a mediacorp drama series. well i was told i would get paid $27 for a job that lasted from 7am to 10am. so that works out to be $9 an hour right?
the bastards.
the deal was to meet the assistant producer at the radio gate (of the mediacorp grounds) at 7am. i arrived at 650am but my contact from matrix vision only arrived like 720am. then we all moved out for the shoot proper...
...and came back at 12 fucking noon. now let's count. 7am till 12 noon. how many hours is that? 5 right? and at the initial rate of $27 for 7am to 10am, i should be getting $9 x 5 (hrs) = $45. but these cheapo assholes just mailed me original pay of $27 bucks. goddamn. and the working environment isnt exactly friendly. these media-type assholes must think that their fart smells like roses.
i know i shouldn't be grumbling coz after all im just an extra right? but hey, if that's how you run your business, then here's a one finger salute to you.
