movie yesterday was great! and jess sprung a surprise by telling me at the last minute that i'll be having dinner with her family too! so i had to juggle TWO dinners in the same evening (the other was with my parents u see..)
it went very well! her parents and sister were friendly and engaged me in chatter so i wouldnt feel too left out (except when they conversed in german, which wasnt all the time, at which i just acted bemused.. haha)
jess said her parents and sister liked me and that i passed! whee :)
oh and the same evening? i came home to find that stuffy and donut were proud parents to 6 baby hammies! how cool is that! but i checked them today and only 5 were alive.
:(
so i took the dead one out with a pair of chopsticks, washed it and laid it to rest in a matchbox padded with tissue.
thats one future furry mammal gone.. oh well *shrugs*
thats all for yesterday and today! gonna meet jess for supper and send her home after her rugby match.. then im going back to camp to sleep. big work day tomorrow :)
